چکیده

We extend a result of Dubins (Ann Probab 3:89–99, 1975) from bounded to unbounded random variables. Dubins showed that a finitely additive expectation over the collection of bounded random variables can be written as an integral of conditional expectations (disintegrability) if and only if the marginal expectation is always within the smallest closed interval containing the conditional expectations (conglomerability). We give a sufficient condition to extend this result to collections of randomvariables that have finite expected value andwhose conditional expectations are finite and have finite expected value.

Basic ideas underlying conglomerability and disintegrability

Envelopes of conditional probabilities extending a strategy and a prior probability

Any strategy and prior probability together are a coherent conditional probability that can be extended, generally not in a unique way, to a full conditional probability. The corresponding class of extensions is studied and a closed form expression for its envelopes is provided. Then a topological characterization of the subclasses of extensions satisfying the further properties of full disinte...

Approximation for Expectations of Unbounded Functions of Dependent Integer-valued Random Variables

Expectations of unbounded functions of dependent nonnegative integer-valued random variables are approximated by the expectations of the functions of independent copies of these random variables. The Lindeberg method is used.

Linear matrix inequality approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data control

In this paper, linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data controlis investigated. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combining with the input delay approach as well as the free-weighting matrix approach are employed to derive several sufficient criteria in terms of...
